
Hi there! My name is Zak. I am a Concept and 3D Artist currently based in the United Kingdom. I have extensive experience in using both Photoshop and Blender to produce concept illustrations. In particular for characters, vehicles, weapons and environments, specialising in hard surface and digital sculpting. My workflow involves ideation block-outs and renders, which I then use to inform my modelling process, allowing me to create fully textured procedurally shaded asset renders.
Currently, my hobbies are miniature painting, surfing and playing horror games, all of which tend to shape my approach to image making. I just love to draw and model!

Zak’s concept work at Rubyshark has been instrumental in developing the style and life of the game. Very quickly and easily able to digest and understand the feel and intent of the game we’re working towards, and delivers multiple, great options. Accepts feedback well, digests it, and is very quick to capture the feel. Zak has quickly demonstrated an ability and receptiveness for more authority and bandwidth within the project and I’ve always felt comfortable enabling and supporting him in that.
